It is gratifying to know that a certain young man was brought forth today on this planet. I never knew that until the news was broken by some comrades on several platforms I share with this young man.
I am not taken aback though I was wondering as I woke up from my bed, the kind of day it is today. I felt that something great was going to happen today or something fantastic has happened sometime ago on this particular day which shall be made known to me later in the day. In fact, the special chirping of the morning birds in a strangely unusual cool, serene and brightening atmosphere characterizing the day, speaks volumes of your birth. It is not surprising at all that you are such a peaceful, loving, non-discriminatory and caring young man. My instincts never failed me so when I saw the birthday wishes to this gallant man by comrades, I said waoow! A great day indeed! The man of the day worths maximum celebration.
His commitment to duties and the level of maturity and intelligence he possesses and displays has won him so many accolades. I can recall he was christened, "The Walking Encyclopedia of History" by the former DCE of Lawra, Hon Sampson Abu, when this young man delivered a speech off-head in a TEIN programme organised by the students in Lawra Nursing Training College. Indeed, he has carved an uncommon niche for himself in and beyond the Upper West Region.
Mr. Prosper Puo-ire as he was officially named by his parents on the seventh day of his birth is a workaholic. This is a home fact which can be attested by many. He is someone who doesn't take action when he is angry and that has been an open secret to those who closely monitor his actions. He is a very bold and fearless young man who will always go every extend to achieve what will benefit majority more especially his party, the great NDC.
The position he occupies now as a communicator was won on meritorious grounds. He has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that his competence is unquestionable. This is somebody who gave himself out to the party he loves. He works tirelessly for the party to the extend that he nearly die in a gory accident that left him with indelible marks on his face. That is the magnitude of his loyalty to the party he truly loves and serves. He is blessed with what is called multilingualism. That has made him exceptionally good and unmatchable when it comes to communication. He is closely associated with the word vociferous as he is often head mounts a spirited defense against anybody who discredits NDC either on the airwaves or any platform. The factually accurate and evidence base argument he does makes the opponents uncomfortable anytime he debates on trending issues in the country.
Mr. Prosper is the type who doesn't get dispair so easily. The reason he contested this same position he occupies now and lost sometime ago yet he continues to work for the party unreservedly and hopes for the better which has come to pass.
The element of honesty, transparency and accountanbility can not be left out in his attributes as I eulogize him on this special day of his. Ever since he ascended the throne of leadership as the regional communication officer of NDC, the true values and principles on which the party is anchored have never eluded him. He has lived and demonstrated the values and principles of our great party.
As our elders do say, the proof of wisdom is the wish to learn even from children. "The walking encyclopedia of history" has never relented in his quest to knowing more. This passion coupled with his outstanding leadership style leaves him to associate with everybody irrespective of your social or political status. He respects everybody hence considers everybody's opinion in making any decision. That notwithstanding, Mr Prosper doesn't allow his principles to be compromised irrespective of the repercussions that will come upon him. He ensures that a fair and level playing field is set for everybody.
In fact, grammatical construction is woefully inadequate to exhaust the attributes of this icon. He is an epitome of a distinguished leader.
Mr. Prosper Puo-ire, as today marks your born day, I wish to use this piece to add my small but loud voice to the many voices eulogizing you as we celebrate this rare day with you. May your new age comes with more blessings and grace. May you live long to accomplish and enjoy your heart desires. May your actions and inactions bring our dear party to power as you unrepentantly touches and transforms lives across the length and breadth of the Upper West Region and beyond. May the Almighty God continues to guide your steps and make your enemies suffer in multiples the evil they wish you.
The economy of this substandard government has been inimical and unfavourable to us so I endlessly pray that we celebrate this birthday in a grand-style from 2021 when the NDC takes the mantle of leadership from the NPP in the country. Amen.
