I succinctly write to express my profound appreciation to all well wishers on my birthday which came off yesterday. I must state that I am unable to hide the joy in me over your best wishes and felicitations I received on Whatssap, Facebook, SMS and phone calls across the length and breadth of the country. In fact,, I was overwhelmed with the kind of words and prayers you offered for me. Indeed, your text messages, Whatssap messages, calls etc added colour to the day and that made it more special.
It is my fervent prayer and hope that the Almighty God replenishes all the sacrifices you made to make my day a memorable one. God bless you abundantly.
The opportunity to live in a day is a great blessing from Almighty God. So the ability for one to live to see one's birthday is a milestone achievement hence worth celebration. Birthdays signify the unconditional love God has for us on earth. It is a day that indicates how far one has come regarding one's numerical strength in terms of age.
Birthday is a day on which one can solemnly have deeper thoughts and sobber reflection on one's life in entirety ranging from the lifestyle one lived, the successes one chalked, the mistakes one made, the achievements one achieved and then juxtapose that with one's age and either readjust, re-strategise, re-establish or proceed with life on same tangent.
The best wishes and felicitations that usually characterize a birthday celebrant serves as a projector that magnifies how impactful or relevant the celebrant is to people he or she encounters. The number of well wishers indicates how loving or caring one is towards others, better still it projects the value of the celebrant in the society, association or any group he or she is associated with.
