My Best Wishes To Dr Richard Kuuire, NDC Parliamentary Candidate For Nandom Constituency

I was actually wondering why the day has been so cool with an accompanying drizzling in the day amidst the sad events that engulfed the entire country resulting in a state sorrow and uncontrollable mourning. Indeed I could sense the aroma of joy and happiness but I couldn't exactly identify what precipitated the sense of joy and happiness.

The bewilderment in me was clarified when I visited the Nandom Political Arena platform where I saw birthday wishes for Dr Richard Kuuire. It is without any gainsaying that the cool serene weather condition that I enjoy the whole day is because a certain distinguished, developmental and result oriented man was born on this particular day.

This man is a peace loving, hard working, purpose driven and above all a unifying force in and beyond the Nandom enclave. He is a man with an insatiable quest for the development of his constituency and Ghana at large. This, he has demonstrated in so many ways within and beyond the district. Just to mention a few are the boreholes that are dotted across the district through his effort. An  immeasurable number of people within the Nandom district and across the length and breadth of this country are able to put food on their tables because of his kind and non-discriminatory support he gave to them when he was the director of prison service. Despite the invaluable contributions and supports he gives to people, he remains humble and embraces all manner of people irrespective of your status.

What is more intriguing is that this man has never occupy any political office yet he has been contributing immensely to developing the district. This has ignited some competition between him and the current member of parliament who was once an MP and regional minister.

I have been unable to guess the magnitude of development this man will bring to the good people of the Nandom constituency when he wins as the member of parliament for the constituency. Another equally interesting thing is that unlike others, Dr Richard Kuuire is developing the district with all his heart and not just because he wants to use that to score  political points. The reason why he narrow lost yet he continues to contribute and still support others.

It is therefore not surprising the incumbent MP, genuinely beat Dr Richard Kuuire, a first time contestant in the 2016 election, with only nine (9) votes. Yes! I said nine votes with genuinely, modifying beat. That may sound incomprehensible but that is it.

Thanks been to the Almighty God that Dr Richard Kuuire this time round, has gone unopposed as a Parliamentary candidate on the ticket of NDC. The  opposition party, NPP, in the constituency are seriously shevering and panting for breathe because they have seen the looming defeat staring at them right in their faces this time round. Thanks to the Almighty God for the unity and that wise decision taken by the NDC in the Nandom constituency.

Dr Richard Kuuire, you are indeed an anointed and a chosen leader from God. You don't make noise when you help or support others. That is exactly what the Bible says, "don't let your left hand knows what the right hand has given out". This attribute of yours is not astonishing because the house you live in is surrounded by Rev. Fathers, brothers and sisters who are humble and God fearing.

My advice to you on this day is that remain calm, committed, determined and resolute in the pursuit of your objective. We will collectively and in unison by the grace of God Almighty ensure that your dream is realised.

I therefore want to use this opportunity to extend my felicitation and best wishes to you on this milestone in your life. May this new age brings you more blessings and grace. It is my prayer that this new age comes with resounding victory in the 2020 election
Happy Birthday to you.
